Coaching Agreement
Coaching is a professional relationship designed to help the client identify and work towards achieving their personal or business goals or aspirations.
It focuses on where clients are now and where they want to go, and as such, it differs from counselling, which looks at what has happened in the past (and works towards unravelling or resolving it). Coaching is always present-focused, non-directive, and confidential. If something from the past is impacting a client now and preventing them from moving forward in life, counselling may be appropriate alongside coaching as part of the client’s journey to progress. This, if and where applicable, remains at the client’s discretion.
At Dublin Mind Clinic, we provide a space that allows clients to define their goals. Coaching is not therapy and does not diagnose mental health issues. Instead, it focuses on personal growth, self-development, achieving objectives, setting goals, accountability helping clients to become the best version of themselves.
Each session is 60 minutes.
The timing or frequency of subsequent sessions is set in line with client’s preference.
The client is free to discontinue the relationship at any time.
Professional coaching is designed to support clients in achieving their unique goals.. There are a variety of approaches to the process which may, from time to time, entail your coach suggesting possible options that you may or may not
consider.
We may also provide additional tools and resources after sessions to support clients’ continued growth and progress. Clients are welcome to use these materials at their discretion, depending on what resonates with them.
Ultimately, clients are always responsible for their decisions and any actions they choose to take during or after a coaching session.

As the client's Healthcare Representative, we are mandated people, i.e. we are legally obliged to report to Tusla (National child protection, early intervention and family support services Agency) any disclosure or concern of abuse or neglect, that is physical, sexual or emotional, and that occurs to anyone who is now under 18 years of age, or who was under 18 years of age at the time of the experienced abuse if the perpetrator has access to other children. Please note that, therefore, the limit to our confidentiality policy also includes retrospective reports of abuse, for example, if the client is an adult now and they disclose having been abused as a child.
